Some of you may already be familiar with Yelawolf and have probably heard his other mixtapes as well. This post though, is for our visitors who don’t know about this super talented rapper, and what better way to introduce him than with his brand new mixtape Trunk Muzik which I personally consider to be a classic tape and Yelawolf’s best project so far. Below I also included one of my favorite songs on the tape (too many good ones to choose from) titled “Speak Her Sex“. Damian Marley & Nas finally have an official track list for their collaboration album titled “Distant Relatives”. Here’s what Damian had to say about the Lil Wayne collaboration on Track No. 12.

“It’s funny, because the track is called ‘My Generation. It’s definitely geared towards that. [Lil] Wayne really showed a lot of respect in his verse, in the way that he handled it. He handled it exactly would’ve really loved him to. I don’t have any criticism at all about what he did. I think it’s a great and blessed track. That’s all I can really say about that.”

DOWNLOAD: Drake – Fall For Your Type

The Internet voices are saying that this might be a reference track for another male artist, but still we haven’t heard Drake sing on a track for a while, and this has that So Far Gone feel to it, so we def cool with it!

When I first heard the original of this song by K’naan, I wasn’t really into it. After a while of hearing it on the radio, it got addictive of course, and I couldn’t stop singing it.

This remix, featuring all Canadian artists, including Drake and Jully Black, really hit home for me. Not only is it a great rendition of the song, but it is also very powerful. I gotta say, it was a great display of just a portion of the musical talent that we have produced in Canada.

Killa Lipstick

First Trackstar & TSS brought us Royce Da 5′9″ vs Lil Wayne mixtape, and on this second mixtape, you will hear what happens when you put Lupe Fiasco in a track battle with Jay-Z. I promise this tape is dope!
