Ive been meaning to post the audio for this song but i never got around to it.. i guess i was just saving it until i had the video. Trish is in my opinion full of that Toronto Talent and currently she has been creeping up on the scene. I first got a glimpse of what she had to offer on the “Don’t Watch Me” music video featuring J.Diggz. What really caught my attention was her style, everything from apperance, to the lyrics, or the dance moves, this girl has a package that no other artist offers. I also had the pleasure of meeting Trish @ the DJ Stylus Awards 2009 and i must say, this girl is really down to earth and is very fun to speak with.

Sonday May 31st, 2009 was day three of the Stylus Spinfest weekend. Again working as a photographer for the Stylus Group, i met up with my partner for the event Mario aka. TheVoyce and headed out to Montana’s in Downtown Toronto to hit up the VIP BBQ & Trivia Challange presented by Hip Hop Canada. Everyone involved with the Stylus Awards (nominees and sponsors) were invited to have a great time while connecting with eachother. The music was provided by DJ Grouch, LRS, Charlie Brown of Legacy Sound and DJ P.Plus.

This year the Stylus Awards introduced the “Who Got Next” compliation cd where artists entered their tracks for their chance to be voted the “next” artist to lookout for in Canada. Third place was DJ Knowledge ft. Slick Life and Cory Lee “Can’t Stop (Hey DJ)”, second place was awarded to Bad News Brown coming from Montreal with “Back On it”, and Jhevon Paris “Top of the Line” featuring Colby O’Donis was voted as the number 1 track. Congrats to all the artists who made the “Who Got Next” compliation, and to those out there who missed it this year, make sure you enter the contest next year.

Before the Trivia got started i decided to take a well deserved break and had the chance to eat and chat with one of the illest new female artists coming out of Toronto, my home gurl Trish. You may have had a glimpse of Trish on 1VIBE before when we posted her latest music video featuring J.Diggz & Oh! for her single “Don’t Watch Me“. I gotta say, not only is the girl Talented as Fu*k but the chick is a real person and very fun to speak with. As a result from all of this, you can be sure that 1VIBE will be sitting down with Trish real soon for an official interview. Keep an eye out!

By this time we had a very long day, and decided to call it a night as the Trivia started. Overall this event was very successful, as it was defently the place to be to connect with all of the industry players. Check out some of the pictures i took below.
