For Diligent’s 2nd promo video we decided to head down to Yorkville, Toronto, where the words “Money makes the world go round” most definitely apply. To make things more interesting, we came up with a concept to make the last 3 promo videos connect together to tell a story. In “Seldomly Sleep“, Diligent wrote a chorus depicting his come up, his hustle, and the struggles he’s had to endure to make it to this point in life. Staying true to his roots, he takes the opportunity to use his verse to show love to the city that raised him, T-Dot. By the end of the video Diligent is done moving his product for the day and meets up with his homies to go kick it for the night. The video, directed by Frankie N Films, features appearances by producer LiTEWORKS, 1VIBE blogger Ildino, and Diligent’s homie Kumanan. Here are a few hints for the next video: the title of the track is “Hold Me Down“, it continues where this one left off, it was shot inside a 60+ story condo in the heart of downtown Toronto, oh and I can’t forget to mention that Diligent made it especially for all the ladies out there!
