If you visit our website frequently, then you are no stranger to the sound of T.DOT’s prince, JD Era. I notced that i had yet to feature my dude under the category “Toronto Talent” and since i got my hands on another joint from him, i think it was time. This time around he remixes Weezy’s “Always Strapped” song featuring Birdman.

Ive been meaning to post the audio for this song but i never got around to it.. i guess i was just saving it until i had the video. Trish is in my opinion full of that Toronto Talent and currently she has been creeping up on the scene. I first got a glimpse of what she had to offer on the “Don’t Watch Me” music video featuring J.Diggz. What really caught my attention was her style, everything from apperance, to the lyrics, or the dance moves, this girl has a package that no other artist offers. I also had the pleasure of meeting Trish @ the DJ Stylus Awards 2009 and i must say, this girl is really down to earth and is very fun to speak with.

Make sure you are on the lookout for more exclusives on Trish here @ 1VIBE.net in the very near future.

Since its a bit slow today, i decided to drop something different. I noticed that in our website category “Toronto Talent” we had yet to feature Drake. Fo real? So you know we had to do it up for the homie.
MuchMusic recently followed rapper Drake as he headed to his first sold-out hometown show at Sound Academy in Toronto. From meeting up with his entourage and arriving at the venue, to chilling in the green room and stepping on stage, we were there to capture every moment. It’s a must-watch cause you’ll get a good sense of Drake’s humble personality and charming nature. Is it just us, or was he particularly charming towards our lovely VJ, Sarah Taylor? Who can blame him, really.
Blake Carrington – “We will make it, Toronto is gona get fucking Grammys, Toronto is gona fucking sell millions of copies around the world, cuz we got good fucking artists in this muthafuka, we going to the TOP!”
Well said homie… i look forward to your project, Blake Carrington’s World, dropping on May 15th. I first featured Blake with Ron D. when they dropped their “Toronto” music video, and it was cool cuz these dudes was talking about places that i walk through, i go to, i live at etc. We have mad talent in the city, and with the changes that the internet has brought within the industry, its only a matter of time before the world discovers the Toronto Talent.
TorontoFresh, good looking on that comment, hit me up with more material when you got it.
Yet another new category here on 1VIBE which you will see a lot of posts from, this one is called “Toronto Talent”. I live in the T-Dot and i thought id show some love while at the same time spread the word to the rest of the world about the amazing talent that resides in my city.
