Yes, this is the real “Thank Me Later” album artwork. Fear not though, if you are like me and don’t really appreciate the artwork, apparently it will all make sense when the you get the whole album package. The official album tracklist should be coming out soon, so check back for that.

This past Saturday Drizzy celebrated his 23rd birthday in his home town, the best city in the world, Toronto, Canada! The celebration took place in a private event held inside the Burroughes Building on the 6th floor loft space overlooking Toronto. Up top is the official album cover that Rihanna decided to go with for her brand new album Rated R scheduled to hit stores on November 23rd. Thoughts anyone?
The ‘Rated R’ cover was shot by famed photographer Ellen von Unwerth, who says that “Rihanna was looking to create something a bit new for the look of the album.”
Von Unwerth goes on to say that Rihanna is “so beautiful, sweet and tough at the same time — and a pleasure to shoot,” adding that she’s “fantastic to work with — very giving, very creative, very involved in every aspect of the shoot, and ready to push the boundaries.”

As we announced earlier this week, 1VIBE has partnered up with www.theriotradio.com (the UOIT + Durham College campus radio station) to bring you a morning Hip Hop show every Wednesday from 10AM – 12PM. Our first show went down this past Wednesday (Oct 7th) and although our time was cut short (due to technical difficulties) we managed to get things running smoothly and snapped a few dope pictures while we kicked it.
Since our show takes place in the morning hours, we cannot play a lot of the rap joints we post here on 1VIBE.NET due to coarse language and lyric content, which is why we only play CLEAN versions of songs, but you can be sure that we will deliver a wicked show which you can vibe to while you are waking up or if you are in class already. (Also lookout for recorded show sessions to be posted on our website in the upcoming weeks.)
We recommend that you tune in using Internet Explorer web browser (as other browsers experience some problems).
